Tiffany joined the Dementia Collaborative Research Centre – Assessment and Better Care in March 2012 as the Project Officer for the Dementia Services Evaluation Grants (DSEG) Program. The aim of this Program was to develop and implement a model for research capacity building within community based dementia services. Eleven organisations successfully completed the DSEG Program and the model has been further developed into the Dementia Service Providers’ Evaluation And Knowledge Exchange (SPEAKE) Program.

Tiffany’s current role is as Research Coordinator for the Halting Antipsychotic use in Long-Term care (HALT) Project. HALT takes a multidisciplinary approach, with collaboration between consumers, RACFs, GPs, pharmacists and clinical specialists to achieve reductions in inappropriate antipsychotic use and associated adverse events through education and promotion of non-pharmacological approached to managing challenging behaviours in nursing home residents.

Prior to her appointment at the DCRC, Tiffany spent 7 years working at the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick undertaking a PhD investigating adult stem cell biology.
