Project Description

The focus of this project is to understand the relationship of diet in prevention of cognitive decline, in particular Alzheimer’s disease. My aim is to compare the effects of adherence to the Mediterranean, low GI, Australian recommended healthy and high-in-antioxidant diets in protecting against cognitive decline. This research will be based on data from almost 2000 individuals participating in one of three longitudinal Australian cohorts. This project is a Masters project.
