Profile

Yun-Hee Jeon, PhD., is Professor of Nursing of Chronic Disease and Ageing at the Sydney Nursing School of the University of Sydney.  Professor Jeon is an experienced registered nurse and academic committed to promoting and supporting research concerned with prevention and management of chronic illness (PMCI) among older people within the primary health care context. Her aim is to develop and consolidate evidence in PMCI and inform practice and policy for older people affected by chronic illness.

Yun-Hee has been involved in numerous local and international collaborative research projects on leadership development in aged care, person centred care models and environments, quality indicators, the experience of chronic illness, aged care workforce, dementia outcome measures, family caregiving, respite care and cultural diversity in health care. 

She is a member of the nursing care node for the Primary Dementia Collaborative Research Centre and serves on its Advisory Committee.
