Project Description

Expressions of sexuality by people with dementia present a number of challenges for residential aged care service providers and there is little information available to guide practice.

This project developed an assessment tool to guide staff and improve care practices related to sexuality and dementia in residential aged care facilities. This tool's content was developed and validated via a consensus based research method using a wide range of experts in the field.
