Project Description

There are many people in the community with dementia and many of those will on occasion be admitted to acute care units of hospitals. It is important that hospital staff have sufficient knowledge to enable them to provide high quality care for these patients.

This project aims to examine hospital staff knowledge and attitudes so that the appropriate education can be provided to eliminate any deficits.

This online survey will utilise items from the validated Alzheimer's Disease Knowledge Scale as well as questions on previous dementia education and demographic data.
