Project Description

People with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) are at an increased risk of developing dementia than the general population. There is currently limited research on the incidence of MCI in Australian samples. Using data from the Sydney Memory and Ageing Study, this project will investigate the prevalence and incidence of MCI amongst community dwelling older people. The project also aims to identify risk factors for progression from MCI to dementia.
